GAM3

GAM3 (pronounced “game”) is a non-profit organization set out to revive the streets worldwide. We bring Street Sports and DJ's to back alleys and concrete courts with a mission to empower the youth and prevent conflict and marginalization.

In the weekend of 11-12 November 35 young boys and girls checked in at StreetMekka in Copenhagen to take part in GAM3's new PlayMaker education. The aim of the PlayMaker program is to engage and educate boys and girls between 16-21 of age in facilitating street sport activities all over Denmark.

This years GAM3 Finals turned out to be the wettest in the basketball tournament's 10 years history. But the love for the game as well as a committed group of volunteers and players defeated the foul weather. StreetMekka’s indoor street facilities made the perfect refuge and lay ground to the playoffs and final games in the record high 15 different divisions.
