| FIBA new partner for GAM3 Finals |

This Saturday the annual streetball tournament GAM3 Finals will unfold in Copenhagen. The tournament will be played in the lively neighborhood of Vesterbro surrounded by old factory buildings at the Carlsberg Brewery. But the location is not the only new element added this year. A fresh partnership with FIBA is now official. The partnership gives the many participating players new opportunities for international realization of their dreams, as FIBA head Patrick Baumann explains. "We are now officially in the test phase and are happy to have GAM3 and the Danish Basketball Federation as our partners in Denmark. We value the experience build up over the years through GAM3 Finals very highly. FIBA's ultimate goal is to create a worldwide 3x3 competition network, leading the best 3x3 players to a World Tour in 2012 and, hopefully, to the Olympics in 2016.” Patrick Baumann, FIBA Secretary General.
