GAM3

GAM3 (pronounced “game”) is a non-profit organization set out to revive the streets worldwide. We bring Street Sports and DJ's to back alleys and concrete courts with a mission to empower the youth and prevent conflict and marginalization.

In 2011 GAM3 is arranging Street Sports activities plus major Urban Events in Danish and Middle Eastern neighborhoods. Towards the end of the summer the Danish activities culminate with the GAM3 Finals, consisting of a major street basketball tournament in the heart of Copenhagen featuring professional basketball players, a Slam Dunk Contest, 7-2-smoke breakdance battle and renowned Hip Hop DJs. The outdoor tournament is Scandinavia’s largest with more than 150 participating teams.

Since its founding in 2002, GAM3 has grown each year and is today a sustainable organization with a Headquarter of around 15 employees in Copenhagen, and around 10,000 annual participants in Denmark and the Middle East combined.

GAM3’s vision is to make urban sports and cultural activities available to everyone with the motto: Take It To The Streets!
