![]() 50 teams attended GAM3 Finals Beirut 2011 that took place in Dekwaneh Municipality playgrounds. More than 200 players rocked the streets in July 10, 2011 and they came from different areas around Beirut, half of the participants were GAM3 Players who practiced for 9 weeks starting from April 2011.GAM3 Lebanon this year was managed by coaches and zone managers who volunteered to give practices for youth for free after a lack of funding for GAM3 Lebanon this year. Without them we could not bring it back to the streets, as GAM3 Lebanon Chairman I really appreciate what they had did for Lebanese youth and kids from all around Beirut.Back to the Finals, the music was cool all the day with the volunteered DJ Jack Salameh, who is a new talented DJ. The sign-up of teams started at 9:00 am and for this tournament GAM3 afforded buses from different GAM3 zones to make it easy for players to get to the place. The first round started at 10:00 am with 50 teams started to play. And in the break time the crazy three point shot contest started and it was so fun to get all the participants crowded in one court to cheer for the players and for the winners. After the three point shot contest the playoffs started and the most special thing this year was the players. They did a great job they played hard but they were fair. They were fun and happy you can see the smiles all over the place, young kids were watching the big guys and learning from them and what I really appreciate is the fair play that big guys showed which is the spirit that we need in the Lebanese Basketball community.
At 3:30 the games ended and the winners are:
The 3-point Contest winners were: Girls: Samah Bassout Boys: Jad Khalil
